I just moved back into school, but before I left I managed to start swatching for a new sweater ! I'm using Cascade yarns 100% baby alpaca lace in a lightly variegated lavender. . .
. . . and rather big needles. (10 US) I love the airy-light fabric it makes !
p.s. the above photo is from my instagram feed & I am totally obsessed.
@ekatearcher ! : )

That first photo is fantastic--it looks like it could have been out of a magazine. :)
ReplyDeleteI have also been thinking about grabbing some big needles and lightweight yarn for a shawl. . . Your post isn't helping that. ;)
i love knitting on big needles! can't wait to see the finished piece <3
ReplyDeleteOoooh! Looks promising!

ReplyDeleteA hammock chair! Love it! I'm swatching with lace too, but your project sounds much more involved and exciting. Can't wait to see it!

ReplyDeleteThat's a great photo of you in the hammock. I've been looking at all the pretty things on your blog and love how creative you are!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely pic of you in the hammock! How nice to go back to that. You are so disciplined to swatch first. I need to do that more often and wash it, a must for a hat's ribbing, yeah?
ReplyDeleteI love the first photo :) That wool is lovely and it's something that I could easily knit with !!!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture on the hammock!
